Four-hundred natural gas market decision-makers meet to analyze and discuss plans to buy, sell and transport natural gas in the Southeast U.S. market
HOUSTON (PRWEB) MARCH 10, 2020
Over four-hundred natural gas market professionals will convene in Atlanta in April to analyze and discuss the Southeast natural gas market and complete commercial transactions. The 20th Annual LDC Gas Forum Southeast takes place April 6 – 8 in Atlanta, GA. This is the premier gathering for natural gas industry professionals, which is much more than simply a conference in that participants routinely complete transactions during the event.
The Southeast U.S. continues to be a natural gas market in transition. Natural gas fired power generation is growing substantially, new facilities to export LNG are coming on stream, and historical pipeline transportation paths are being re-plumbed in response to growing supply availability in non-traditional basins.
Three Keynote presentations will be delivered by: Suzanne Ogle, President and CEO, Southern Gas Association; Jared Kaiser, Chief Operating Officer – Natural Gas, BP Energy; and Erin Kurilla, VP, Operations & Safety, American Public Gas Association (APGA). Dr. Jim Duncan, Special Advisor to the Director, the International Research Institute for Climate and Society, Earth Institute, Columbia University, and Co-founder Latigo Energy Group, will be joined by Tony Nash, CEO and Founder, Complete Intelligence to deliver a timely presentation on the Coronavirus effect on Energy Geopolitics. In addition, Mark Boling, CEO, 2C Energy, LLC will also deliver a presentation on The Role of Natural Gas in a Low-Carbon Economy.
The 2 ½ day Program also includes six moderated Panel discussions addressing a variety of timely topics, with well-qualified industry experts, including representatives from: CenterPoint Energy Services; Eversheds-Sutherland; Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Coalition; Direct Energy; Center for LNG; ICIS; ConocoPhillips; Thigpen Solutions; Stabilis Energy; Chart Inc.; Marlin Gas Services; Kinder Morgan; Dominion Energy / Atlantic Coast Pipeline; Williams; Sequent Energy Management; NatGasHub.com; CX Futures Exchange; FIS Global; American Public Gas Association; City of Wilson; City of Tallahassee; and Huntsville Utilities.
This Forum focuses on the Southeast U.S. market, while five other Forums throughout the year address other key regions across the continent.
Even in today’s digital age, natural gas market participants appreciate a venue that facilitates face-to-face interaction. The LDC Gas Forum is uniquely structured to meet this requirement and has been the venue of choice, for thousands of participants, for over three decades. Registration is still available at http://www.ldcgasforums.com/se/.
The LDC Gas Forums, US-Mexico Natural Gas Forum, and Gulf Coast Energy Forum series now consists of six annual events each focused on the key natural gas market regions across North America. This is where buyers and sellers meet and do business. Much more than simply conferences, the Forums are a venue that deliver insights on critical issues affecting natural gas markets, but in addition provide participants opportunities to meet with industry counterparts to complete commercial business transactions. Timely panel discussions featuring key industry authorities focus on important questions facing buyers, sellers, transportation operators and other market stakeholders in competitive energy markets. Topics addressed include: Supply & Demand, Financial Outlook, Pipeline/Storage/LNG Infrastructure Projects, LNG Export Markets, Mexico Export Markets, Gas/Electric Coordination, Regulatory Updates, Gas Buyer Insights, Risk Analysis and Hedging Strategies, and Global Energy Geopolitics. Participants at the Forums include market leaders, decision makers and subject matter experts, representing all segments of the commercial value chain including utilities, industrial gas consumers, producers, pipelines, marketers, key product and service providers, as well as regulators and analysts. Vast networking opportunities give you access to your clients, prospects, and peers to further explore relevant issues in your region.
